Why a monthly fee vs. buying session packages?
A monthly membership fee allows me to do several things:
- The biggest reason is that it will help me assist my clients in being consistent (and successful) with regular weekly training sessions. A weekly time is held for you and we can get into a regular training routine or cycle when I know you are scheduled every week, or several times per week
- Because my clients are committed to weekly sessions I can offer a lower training rate, which will allow me to serve more people or have my clients come more consistently which will equal better health progress (and happier clients & trainer!)
- Budgeting! It’s easier for people to budget when they know what their monthly expenses are. It’s also easier as a business owner to know what my monthly income is. The regularity of a monthly fee is easier for everyone to plan around.
- Convenience – I’ll send you a link to pay either via credit card or debit. It’ll be automated each month. If you need to cancel I ask that you give me 30 days notice so I can stop the payment in time for the next cycle. You can also pay by cash or cheque on the first of the month if you prefer.
What about when I travel or am sick, or my schedule just doesn’t allow for a session that week?
The monthly membership is calculated at 48 weeks per year but payment is spread out evenly over 12 months, so if you attend your regular sessions each week and make up any missed sessions you would get 4 weeks for FREE! These 4 bonus sessions also account for when unexpected things come up (one of us gets sick, you or I are out of town one week, there’s a family emergency etc). Any missed sessions can be rescheduled within the month as long as there is room in my schedule.
**If you train twice a week you would get 8 free sessions if you attend regularly (or 8 to use for things that come up throughout the year)
In addition, twice per year you can put a 2 week hold on your membership if you are going away for an extended holiday (please let me know in advance). Should I be out of town for more than 2 weeks I will also adjust your membership accordingly, as well as open up extra times in my schedule so you can get sessions in before I leave (or I will have a trainer cover while I am away for those that may be interested in that option).
